Ana Agostinho

With a rich background as the Managing Director of a Portuguese-based Foundation (managing all day-to-day operations, environmental protection projects around the world, and policy matters in Europe) and extensive experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, Ana Agostinho is committed to providing top-notch environmental consulting services to companies and international projects. Her expertise lies in leveraging sustainability for operational and commercial value, fostering growth, enhancing brand reputation, and creating valuable partnerships.

As a public speaker, combining technical knowledge with strong communication skills, Ana travels the world to educate and inspire audiences about the importance of sustainability. She actively participates in high-profile events such as COP, United Nations Conferences, Intergovernmental International events, and more.

Ana is not only a representative of the UNESCO Foundation’s Dialogue and the G20 Coral Research & Development Accelerator Platform (CORDAP) but also engages in R&D projects to seek environmental solutions. Her successful collaborations include partnerships with the UN Environment Programme (UNEP), the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN), IATA, and various intergovernmental organizations. Ana has served as an accredited representative of the Open-ended Committee of Permanent Representatives and the Global Major Groups and Stakeholder Forum, in preparation of the United Nations General Assembly (UNEA).

Driven by a passion for social inclusion, Ana has been actively involved in volunteering since her youth. Today, she continues her dedication to environmental sustainability for the betterment of society.
